WASHINGTON — The children of Ray and Grace Carrico of 14771N 900E, Odon, are hosting an open house from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday at the Washington Community Building, 501 Burkhart Drive, in Eastside Park to help celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. Grace Shake and Ray Carrico were united in marriage on June 5, 1960, at the Bunkum Church by Revs. Fred Wilson and Ernest Roberts. Winona Overton and Kenny Overton were their attendants. The couple has lived in Odon for their 50 years of marriage. They are the parents of four children, sons and daughter-in law, Wayne and Jan Carrico of Winslow and Doug Carrico of Odon; daughters and sons-in law, Ava and Matt Meier of Morris, Ill., and April and Grant Carrico-Hardegree of Indianapolis. They have seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. All friends and family are invited to attend, invitations are being sent out.
