WASHINGTON — Former residents Kirby and Carol (Williams) Riffey will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on March 25. They were married at Wesley United Methodist Church by Rev. Chet Thompson. Their attendants were Barbara (Yarbrough) Slessinger, Peggy Fish, Bill Waggoner and Dick Remmel. They are the parents of two children, Michelle (Pete) LaRocca of St. Charles, Mo., and Troy (Angie) Riffey of Terre Haute. They have one grandson and two stepgrandchildren.
