WASHINGTON — David and Sharon (Vieke) Carie were united in marriage on June 14, 1975, at Old Cathedral Catholic Church in Vincennes. Parents of the couple, Ernest and Helen Vieke (both deceased), and Harold and Beulah Carie (Beulah deceased), are from Vincennes. Children of the couple include: Josh Carie of Vincennes, Jamie Glass of Louisville, Ky., Jill Bieberich of Fort Wayne, Joel Carie of Vincennes, Jodie Carie of Washington and Jacie Carie of Washington. The have four grandchildren. David and Sharon reside on Walnut Street in Washington. He is employed with Our Lady of Hope Parish and Washington Catholic Schools. She is employed by South Knox Elementary School.
