Austin L. Capehart Jr. and Shirley Norris of Washington were married Sept. 19, 1959, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Montgomery.
Shirley is the daughter of Myrtle Norris Fields and the late Joseph A. Norris.
Austin is the son of the late Austin L. Capehart Sr. and Viola (Mangin) Capehart.
They are the parents of six children: Sandra Richardville, Austin L. (Jill) Capehart III, Demita Capehart and Pam Capehart, all of Washington, Barbara (Tim) Barnett of Petersburg and Stephen Capehart, deceased. They are the grandparents of 13 and they have two great-granddaughters.
The couple resides at 801 SR 257 and will be taking a trip to Panama City Beach, Fla. to celebrate.
