PETERSBURG — On Thursday, Norman R. Leighty and Vera (Pride) Leighty of Petersburg will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary. They will have an open house at the Eastgate Manor Nursing Home, 2119 E. Nat’l Hwy., where Norman is a resident. They are the parents of five children: Marilyn Dyer (Steve), Rick Leighty (Kay), Mike Leighty and Janet Trambaugh (Larry). Another son, Danny Leighty, is deceased. They have nine grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. No gifts, but cards and visits would be appreciated.
