Carolyn Sue Phillips and James E. Allen were united in marriage Jan. 11, 1963. The couple was wed at the Frady United Methodist Church in Raglesville. Diane (Smith) Beasley and Ron Toon were their attendants.
In honor of their 50th wedding anniversary the children and grandchildren of Jim and Sue Allen host ed an open house Saturday at Odon United Methodist Church.
The couple are the parents of Jamie (Allen) Neff and Michael (Patty) Allen, all of Washington. They have four grandchildren.
