The children of Tom and Marilyn Wade, 1749 Troy Road, are hosting an open house from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Washington Masonic Lodge, SR 57N, to help celebrate their parents’ 50th wedding anniversary.
Marilyn Cornelius and Thomas Wade were united in marriage Nov. 22, 1959, at New Bethel Church, Cornettsville, by Bro. Richard Smith. Their attendants were Sara Chestnut, Barbara Ramsey, Jerome Hunter and Wayne McCormick.
They are the parents of three sons, Daniel (DeAnne) of Mitchell, David (Gala) and Jason of Washington. They have four grandchildren, two stepgrandchildren and one great-grandson.
The family requests no gifts. They ask that family and friends come with memories and pictures to be shared and enjoyed by everyone.
