WASHINGTON —
Robert L. Hawkins and Doris J. Hawkins were united in marriage at the Pleasant Hill parsonage in Odon on Dec. 19, 1942, by the bridegroom's father, Rev. R.P. Hawkins.
To this union three children were born, Dr. Ronald R. (Bloomington), Linda K. (deceased) and Jeffrey K. (Odon). Parents of the couple were Robert P. and Melissa Jones Hawkins and Oliver and Goldie Banks Cornelius.
The couple has lived in rural Odon for over 50 years.
