MONTGOMERY — The Class A No. 1 Barr-Reeve Vikings knew that they would face a serious lateseason test on Tuesday and when it was over Coach Brian Hughes was pretty happy with the grade.
Barr-Reeve posted a 54-40 win over White River Valley and showed that they are a team that looks like they are ready to respond to any challenges.

Geneva Yoder, Loogootee, asked the Loogootee School Board Monday night to reconsider approving any future school fund-raisers that involve a hypnotist.
Yoder said it was “not morally or ethically right to hypnotize children for the sake of entertainment or fund-raising.”
