Plane which was in trouble was able to land on I-69

WASHINGTON — Cher Elliott from the Indiana Department of Transportation has reported to the Washington Times Herald that a plane which reportedly in trouble was able to land on a section of Interstate 69 7 miles northeast of Washington, and north of the Daviess County Airport.

Airport officials had notified Daviess County Sheriff's Department officials that a plane in trouble just before noon today.

No other details are known. Authorities are still investigating.
