Washington High School semistate ticket sales
If purchasing a ticket before 10:45 a.m. Wednesday you must show your pass (one tourney ticket per pass). Definition of “immediate family” — all dependent children of school age or older.
Tickets will be on sale at Gate 3, Wednesday — Cost is $7
8:30 a.m. — Boys junior high basketball players may buy one ticket for themselves.
8:35 a.m. — All high school coaches may buy for themselves and immediate family.
8:40 a.m. — Boys varsity basketball workers, one free and may buy for immediate family.
8:45 a.m. — Student high school Black and Gold and/or student employee pass holders may buy one ticket (starting with seniors, juniors, sophomores, then freshmen, must show pass).
8:50 a.m. — Adult Black and Gold, Senior 65+, retiree pass holders may buy one ticket (must show pass).
9:15 a.m. — Junior high student and elementary student Black and Gold and/or student employee pass holders may buy one ticket.
9:20 a.m. — Student event pass holders, band and dance team members (must show pass).
9:30 a.m. — Adult event pass holders (must show blue pass, one ticket per pass).
10 a.m. — High school student open sale for students only (starting with seniors, juniors, sophomores, then freshmen).
10:20 a.m. — Junior high student open sale (for students only).
10:30 a.m. — Staff (those who do not qualify under other category) may buy for immediate family.
10:45 a.m. — Retired faculty and staff if not a Black and Gold pass holder.
11 a.m. to 5 p.m. — Open sales, limit six tickets per person (must show Washington ID).
The following list may call the Athletic Office before 4 p.m. today to reserve their tickets. Tickets will be available in the Athletic Office on Wednesday:
Administrators and school board members; parents, grandparents and immediate family of boys basketball varsity, JV, frosh players, managers and cheerleaders; corporate pass holders, tickets allotted per ad package plus may buy for immediate family who have athletic passes; employee All-Sports pass holders (may buy for immediate family if they have a pass). They must show pass.

Petersburg men arrested in truck wash armed robbery
An Indiana State Police investigation into the Jan. 29 armed robbery at Blue Beacon Truck Wash located near U.S. 41 and I-64 has prompted criminal charges being filed against Larry Nathaniel Davis, 26, and Branden Joe Walburn, 26, both from Petersburg. Felony warrants were issued yesterday afternoon for their arrests. At approximately 11:30 Tuesday night, Indiana State Police executed the warrants and arrested Davis and Walburn without incident.

The Indiana Department of Transportation reports Friday night that SR 358 is closed between SR 67 in Edwardsport and SR 57 in Plainville due to high water. Avoid driving into standing water.

Man found dead near electric power station
Today, at 10:47AM, Indiana State Police Troopers and Sullivan County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a report of man found deceased on the property of the Indiana-Michigan Power Plant located at 8818 West County Road 925 North in northwestern Sullivan County. The location is approximately two and one-half miles west of the small town of Fairbanks.
