Duh, right off the bat I forgot Nick Duncheon and Isaac Stoll at USI when I was trying to remember who was playing where. I was told that Nick did a lot of the scoring for the team in the preseason.
Tyler Z. was on the ESPN late game last night with 12 points, six boards two assists, two blocks and monster slam. I would say that was a very productive 16 minutes. In fact, Jay Williams said Tyler may be the best sixth man in the country.
ND and WC kick off the girls season tonight here in town. Washington lost to South Knox on Tuesday. I was also told that their game with Memorial for Saturday has been moved to January.
I got a nice couple of Veteran’s Day emails yesterday and I wanted to shout out to my Dad who is a Korean War Marine vet. Also I know we have a ton of current area folks as vets and active duty, but a big shout out to Marine Zane Bowman, Air Force’s Beau Gish and Marine Dwain Jolliff, all serving proudly. In fact my wife got a facebook hit from an old high school friend of her’s who was in the Med at the same time as me back in the day.
