Rick Wuertz of Washington and Jean Wuertz of Shoals, along with Mike and Kay Summers of Loogootee, wish to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their children, Daniell Maria Wuertz and Kirk Michael Summers, both of Loogootee.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Phinney. She is a 2003 graduate of Barr-Reeve High School and is currently a nursing student at Vincennes University.
The future bridegroom is the grandson of Virginia Toy of Loogootee and the late Robert F. Toy and Bud and Grace Summers. He is a 2003 graduate of Loogootee High School and a 2005 graduate of Vincennes University with a degree in electronics. He is currently employed with Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane.
The wedding will take place at 2 p.m. June 27 at St. John Catholic Church, Loogootee, with the reception to follow at the Martin County Community Building. Invitations have been sent but all friends and family are invited to attend the celebration.
