WASHINGTON — Dr. and Mrs. Donald Kerr of Shoals would like to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Kathy Marie Kerr, to Adam Joseph Overton, son of Martha and the late Kenneth Overton of Washington. The future bride is a 2006 graduate of Shoals High School and a 2010 graduate of Oakland City University where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in english education. She is currently employed at Jasper High School. The future bridegroom graduated from Washington High School in 2006 and Vincennes University in 2009 with associate degrees in land surveying and architectural drafting. He is currently employed by Landmark Surveying of Washington. The couple will be wed on July 14 and will reside in Montgomery.
