WASHINGTON — Dave and Rosemary Abel of Washington announce the engagement and upcoming wedding of their daughter, Laura Elizabeth Abel, to Chase Michael Truelove, son of Darla Truelove of Linton and James Truelove of Montgomery. The bride-elect is a 2001 graduate of Washington High School and a 2005 graduate of University of Indianapolis with a Bachelor of Science degree in exercise science. She has been employed with United Healthcare and is currently seeking a second degree in physical therapy with Vincennes University. She is the granddaughter of Betty Abel of Washington and the late Jack Abel and the late John and Cora Bilskie. The future bridegroom is a 2001 graduate of Barr-Reeve High School and attended Vincennes University. He is currently employed by SAIC at Crane. He is the grandson of Ray Truelove of Montgomery and the late Laverne Truelove and the late Clyde and Nina Schnarr. The wedding ceremony will be held June 9 at Antioch Christian Church with reception to follow.
