BID NOTICE
FOR ARRA FUNDING
Pace Community Action Agency is seeking proposals from area contractors to supply labor & materials for the following: 1) Retro fitting insulation into homes; 2) General weatherization measures to increase energy efficiency of Site Built and Mobile Homes; 3) General base loac measures to reduce energy costs; and 4) Mechanical repairs and installation. All applicants must meet the Davis Bacon wage rate schedule requirements to include reporting, and audit.
Bid packets and information may be obtained at a meeting on September 16, 2009, 5:00 p.m. located at PACE Com-munity Action, 525 N. 4th Street, Room 207, Vin-cennes, Indiana. Prefer-ence will be given to firms that attend the meeting. Meeting attendees will be supplied with Bid Packets which will explain terms, conditions, and bid/scoring procedures. Non meeting attendees may acquire a bid packet at the above PACE office, room 208, Monday-Friday 9 a.m.-4 p.m. All sealed bids must be returned to PACE Community Action, P.O. Box 687, 525 N. 4th Street, Room 208, Vincennes, IN 47591 by 3:00 p.m. (EST) on Thursday, September 24, 2009, with bid opening at 4:00 p.m. (EST) at PACE office. Criteria for selection will include experience, locality, familiarity with projects type, and bid price, more thoroughly outlined in the bid packet and pre-bid meeting. No faxed or emailed bids will be accepted. EOE.
