Black Beauty seeks renewal of permit

PUBLICNOTICE

Permit #S-00308 Renewal #2

In accordance with Indiana Administrative Code 312 IAC 25-4-129, Black Beauty Coal Company, LLC, 7100 Eagle Crest Blvd, Evansville, IN 47715 herewith provides public notice of application for renewal #2 of mining permit #S-00308 at the Viking Mine, Corning Pit. The area is located approximately 3.5 miles south of Montgomery, Indiana. The area is described as follows: Sections 14 & 23, Harrison Township, Sections 13 & 24, Reeve Township, all of the above is located in T2N-R6W, Daviess County, Indiana, as well as portions of the west 1/2 of Section 17, Section 18 and also portions of the west 1/2 of Section 19, again located in Reeve Township, T2N-R5W, Daviess County, Indiana. This area being identified within the Alfordsville & Glendale USGS 7.5 Minute Quad-rangles. Property owners within the permit area include: Abe A. Knepp, Agnes Bailey, Albert E. Dillion, Alice Southwood, Alvin Swartzentruber, Anita Hart, Anna M. Colvin, Anthony F. Edwards, Bernard Duncheon, Beverly J. Fine, Black Beauty Coal Company, Brenda Burch, Clifford J. Lannan, David A. Helm, Dennis D. Murphy, Dennis P. Toy, Denzil Fowler, Donald R. Delaney, Donna Spellmeyer, Carolyn Cornelius, Edward & Donald Ennis, Essie Nolley, Ethel Barley, Florence P. Cavanaugh, Galen Graber, George Colvin, George H. Hart, Gilbert Nolley, Harry Knepp, Jack & Willard Graber, James M. Saul, James F. Lannan, Jerald L. Schuetz, John A. Gallagher, John Kane, John D. Newland, John J. Toy, Judeanne Murphy, Judy Cosgrave Davis, Kalaquin Land Trust, Lucille Dillon, Maria Knepp, Mark D. Dillon, Mary R. The application is available for public inspection at the Washington (Carnegie) Public Library, 300 W. Main Street, Washington, IN 47501 and at the Indiana Department of Natural Resources, Division of Reclamation Office, IN Hwy. 48 approximately 1/2 mile west of Jasonville, Indiana.
