Intent to mine near Alfordsville

WASHINGTON — LEGAL NOTICE Pursuant to I.C. 14-34, the Director of Department of Natural Resources has approved a permit to conduct surface coal mine and reclamation operations by Solar Sources, Inc. as follows: Permit Number: S-364 New Mine Name: Alfordsville Mine Number of Acres: 884.0 County: Daviess Location: Parts of Sections 15, 16, 21 and 22, T2N, R5W; NW of Alfordsville, IN, Alfordsville Quadrangle(s). Permit Term: 5 years The Director of Department of Natural Resources has approved the above-mentioned permit with thirteen (13) condition(s). The findings of the Division of Reclamation are available for inspection at the Division of Reclamation Field Office, 1⁄4 mile west of Jasonville city limits on State Road 48, and at the Daviess County Library. Copies of the findings may be obtained by writing to the Permit Coordinator, Division of Reclamation, 14619 W. State Road 48, Jasonville, IN 47438-9517. Pursuant to I.C. 14-34-4-13, 312 IAC 25-4-122, I.C. 4-21.5-3-5, and I.C. 4-21.5-3-7, any person with an interest which is or may be adversely affected by this decision may request a hearing to review the decision. Requests for a hearing shall be submitted to the Department of Natural Resources, Attention Hearing Division, Indiana Government Center North, Room 501A, 100 N.
