Little Sandy files for permit renewal

PUBLIC NOTICE

In accordance with 312 IAC 25-4-109 notice is hereby given that Little Sandy Coal Company, Inc., P.O. Box 16, Lamar, Indiana 47550, has filed an application for a permit renewal with the Depart-ment of Natural Resources of the State of Indiana for renewal of the surface mining permit S-00355, Antioch Mine. The mine is located in Daviess County approximately 3 miles northwest of Montgomery, IN more specifically described as follows:

The permit area is shown on the Montgomery, Indiana USGS 7.5 minute quadrangle map. Property owners within the proposed permit area are: Thomas Boyd, Steven & Karen Boyd, Boyd & Sons Farm, and Rita R. Burkhart.

A completed copy of the application renewal has been filed in the Washing-ton Carnegie Public Library, 300 West Main Street, Washington, Indiana 47501, and the Division of Reclamation Field office at R.R. #2 Box 129, SR 48 W., Jasonville, IN 47438 and is available for public inspection.
