Daviess County Commissioners accepting bids

NOTICE OF RECEIVING ANNUAL BIDS FOR 2010

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Daviess County Commissioners will receive sealed bids for the Daviess County Highway Department for the following supplies, materials, and work for the maintenance of equipment, roads, and bridges for the year 2010, until 9:00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time, on October 26, 2009.

Item #1. Cutting Edges & Scarfier Teeth

Item #2. Lubricating Oil, Grease, Anti-Freeze

Item #3. Tires & Tubes

Item #4. Culvert Types & Other Drainage Struc-tures

Item #5. Concrete & Masonry Products

Item #6. Flowable Fill

Item #7. Sand & Gravel

Item #8. Crushed Stone

Item #9. Precast Reinforced Concrete Box Sections

Item #10. Crane Rental

Detailed specifications and bid forms for the above items are on file at the Daviess County Highway Department, 5247E 100N, Montgomery, Indiana.

All bids are to include a bid bond or cashiers check equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid, a “Non-Collusion Affidavit”, and a “Bid Offer or Proposal Form” #DC-BOP.

Bids submitted for item #10: Crane Rental, are to include a “Form 96” and the “Bidders Insurance Requirements.”

The successful bidder is required to furnish a performance bond for the amount of the contract.

The Board of Daviess County Commissioners reserve the right to accept or reject any or all bids and waive informalities in bidding.
