A fire erupted in a shed at 1407 Maxwell Ave. around 1 p.m. Wednesday. The fire, which was found to be unintentional, caused extensive damage to the shed, owned by Gib Gray. Both Washington units were called. The fire was under control after 30 minutes and completely extinguished after about an hour and 15 minutes. No injuries were reported.
