Friday
10:50 a.m. — An employee of Sav-A-Lot, 300 S.E. 21st St., advised they received a counterfeit $10 bill from an unknown customer.
9:45 a.m. — Sgt. Johnny Lagle made a traffic stop at 4 N.E. 21st St. on a Jeep registered to Susan F. McCall, 1404 E. Nat’l Hwy. Scottie Michael McCall, 310 Ogdon St., was issued a citation for driving while suspended/prior and will be long-formed.
7:43 a.m. — A female caller at 712 W. Main St. reported the theft of her son’s red 80cc moped from their fenced backyard between midnight and 7 a.m. She advised she has the key.

5:17 p.m. — Capt. Ritchie Tolliver spoke to a male juvenile who was approached by two subjects with BB guns who shot him in the right side of the head and right arm.

9:49 p.m. — Deputies Hinderliter and Fuhs served a warrant at 2987N 1200E and took a subject into custody. State police were going to take the subject to Martin County.
7:56 p.m. — A subject reported someone backed into his truck at 7 Cumberland Dr. A field report was made.
4:49 p.m. — A caller reported a hit-and-run property-damage accident on SR 57 near May’s Gas. He advised a red and white, late model pickup rear-ended another vehicle and left the scene.
12:57 p.m. — An out-of-town property owner requested a deputy document and take pictures of vandalism to his rental property in Odon.
9:05 a.m. — A minor property-damage accident was reported at SR 257S and U.S. 50. No injuries were reported.
8:20 a.m. — A county highway employee reported someone rear-ended their truck at E. 200N and N. 575E. An officer was requested to make a report.
ARRESTS
William Tyler Wise, 21, Odon, was arrested by sheriff’s deputies Wednesday for intimidation after Dispatch received a call about a fight in progress. He was held at Daviess County Security Center on $50,000 bond.
Chris W. Wise, 50, Odon, was arrested by Odon police Wednesday for intimidation of an officer with a firearm, resisting law enforcement, possession of a legend drug, and dangerous control of a handgun. He was held on $5,000 bond.
Stephanie Amber Renault, 18, Petersburg, was arrested by city police Wednesday for possession of a legend drug and illegal possession of alcohol by a minor after a traffic stop at N.W. 19th St. and Vincennes Ave. She was released on $2,000 bond.
Marcus A. Newsome, 33, Coldwater, Miss., was picked up by sheriff’s deputies Thursday in Missouri on a warrant for dealing in methamphetamine. He’s being held on $200,000 bond.
