Indianapolis man killed in Daviess County accident

From Staff Reports

An Indianapolis man lost his life Wednesday in a one-vehicle accident north of Plainville.

Kyle T. Suter, 24, was driving south on SR 57 at 8:46 a.m. when his 1999 Chevrolet Malibu for unknown reasons failed to negotiate a curve and ran off the east side of the road striking a ditch and then hitting a tree head on.

Sheriff’s deputies reported Suter was wearing a seatbelt and air bags did deploy. He was extricated from the car and taken to Daviess Community Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

Sheriff’s Lt. Charles Milton was assisted at the scene by other deputies, Plainville Volunteer firefighters, Elnora Volunteer firefighters, Southwest Medical Ambulance Service, Deputy Daviess County Coroner Chris Coney and the state police.
