ODON — More than 3 million servicemen and women now living have served this country.
They chose to live selflessly so others can live freely. They chose to respond to the needs of the whole country so others can tend to daily needs. They chose to risk their lives for millions they will never meet so others can live normally.
These individuals are courageous, respectable and honorable. The United States would not be the great nation it is today without their contributions.
Pat Wilson, 77, is just one of those 3 million. He served this country in the Navy during the Korean War, enlisting in 1950.
