SHOALS — A part-time jailer at the Martin County Security Center was arrested Friday for trafficking and sex with a female inmate.
Mark G. Arvin, 47, Whitfield, was charged with trafficking with an inmate, a Class A misdemeanor and sexual misconduct as a service provider, a Class C felony. The charges were filed Tuesday in Martin Circuit Court.
