Washington Catholic High School junior Austin Jarrett was named the new Indiana State Beta Club Vice President at the 55th annual state convention held Nov. 13-14 in Indianapolis. More than 13 schools were in attendance, and Jarrett had two adversaries running for the title of vice president.
Not only did WC come back to Daviess County with a Beta Club state officer, but also the WC Beta Club had many wins in other competitions.
