Daviess County Commissioners hear about animal control

Gilbert Andis told the Daviess County Commissioners Monday afternoon he was concerned about dogs and cats not being properly cared for in rural areas of the county.

“It’s getting horrendous,” said Andis, who lives in rural Odon. He wants the county’s animal control officer to take swifter action against pet owners Andis claims do not provide animals with the shelter, food and water required by law.
