WASHINGTON — Retired teachers to meet
The Daviess-Martin County Retired Teachers Association will meet at 11:30 a.m. Friday for lunch and meeting at the Washington Ponderosa. New members are welcome.
WC Preschool registration today
Washington Catholic Preschool will hold open registration for fall preschool today and Thursday from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The Little Learners program is for children who will turn 3 by Aug. 1. Class times available are from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday, the cost is $60 a month and the kindergarten readiness program is for children who will turn 4 by Aug. 1. The available class times are from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. with a cost of $75 a month.
Contact WC Preschool at 254-6739 with any questions or concerns. Plan on signing up on Feb. 27 for 4-5 year old classes or Feb. 28 for 3-4 year old classes. There is a $15 registration fee that holds your childÕs spot for the fall.
B-R kindergarten roundup
Kindergarten Roundup for Barr-Reeve Community Schools will be Friday, March 15. There will be two sessions available, 9 a.m. or 1 p.m. at the Primary building. Parents need to bring incoming students and their original birth certificate. Contact the office at 486-3235 with any questions.
