WASHINGTON — Pace Community Action Agency will be offering iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch classes. Learn tricks, tips and ways to use your “i” devices. It is suggested that you bring your device to class. The cost of each class will be $15 per person.

The class schedule is: Introduction to using your device: 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Jan. 31; Getting more out of your iOS applications: 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Jan. 26; and 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Feb. 7. Additional classes will be scheduled as needed. All classes are at 525 N. Fourth St., Vincennes, in room 203.

For more information, or to reserve a spot, call Chris Clinton at 882-7927 Ext. 1258. Advance payment is required to enroll. Credit cards preferred, checks accepted. Classes with participation of less than 10 may be rescheduled.

Hill arrested on $100K bond
Andrew Logan Hill, 32, Washington, was arrested by sheriff’s deputies on a warrant for petition to revoke a suspended sentence. He remains in the Daviess County Security Center on a $100,000 bond.

Cemetery owners plead for time, help
For nearly a century and a half, Daviess County folks have been laid to rest in Oak Grove Cemetery at the west edge of Washington, but in recent years maintenance of the 23-acre property has declined and people are no longer wanting to bury family members there.

Following the processional led by North Daviess faculty and juniors Janice Knepp and Cari Jo Wilson, the voluntary invocation will be led by Chelsea Graber. Stacey Beard, class president, will then make welcoming and introductory remarks.
