CITY REPORT
Friday
10 a.m. — UPDATE: Daniel Westfall, 30, Washington, is now in Daviess County and in jail at the Daviess County Security Center. He was arrested Wednesday in Lawrenceville, Ill. in connection with a stabbing on Oct. 6.
An updated list of charges were given to him including: two counts of aggravated battery, two counts of battery resulting in serious injury; two counts of battery by means with a deadly weapon and a count of battery resulting in bodily harm. He is being held without bond.
Thursday
8 p.m. — Tim Presser reported his moped was stolen while parked on Cable Avenue. A suspect was named.
COUNTY REPORT
Thursday
7:17 a.m. — Melissa Hinkle reported she hit a deer with her school bus on CRs 550N and 100W with a couple students on the bus. The bus was drivable and a report was made after the students were dropped off at school.
ARRESTS
Steven J. Davidson, 24, Loogootee, was arrested by Daviess County Sheriff’s deputies Thursday on a petition to revoke a suspended sentence for conspiracy to commit burglary, residential entry and theft. He was being held at the Daviess County Security Center on $100,000 bond.
Joshua R. Christmas, 24, Washington, was arrested by sheriff’s deputies Thursday on a warrant for two counts of dealing in a Schedule II controlled substance and a count of conspiracy to commit dealing in a Schedule II controlled substance. He was being held without bond.
Dustin M. Holt, 23, Shoals, was arrested by sheriff’s deputies Thursday on a warrant for theft. He was released on $2,500 bond.
