Hatchets take two from S. Knox
The Washington eighth grade boys basketball team defeated South Knox twice Monday evening.
Washington won the A game, 53-15.
The Hatchets were led by Austin Moody¹s 13 points. Matthew Stephens added 10, while Max Lancaster scored nine points. Logan Allen pitched in six, and Reid Neff, Jacob Overton and Jeremiah Kirsch scored five points each.
In the B game, the Hatchets were victorious by eight points, 52-44.
Logan Bateman and Donovan Langdon led the Hatchets with 10 points each. Ben Lambert scored nine points, Austin Fox had eight points, Jeremiah Kirsh seven and Chase Clymer and Curtis Tucker four each.
Lady Hatchets win two
The Washington eighth grade girls basketball team won games against Bloomfield and Sullivan.
The Hatchets defeated Bloomfield, 42-31, behind 14 points from Mattie Webb.
Kaitlyn Davis scored 10, Gissele Santos added six points, Lillie Harmon and Neida Revolorio scored four points each, Kaitlyn Klingle two and Mary Bernard one.
The Hatchets defeated Sullivan, 33-21.
Kaitlyn Davis led Washington with 10 points, Neida Revolorio scored seven, Mattie Webb six, Mary Bernard and Lillie Harman four each and Kaitlyn Klingle two.
