VINCENNES –– The Washington wrestling team started its season on the right foot by winning the Vincennes Lincoln Invitational Saturday for the third year in a row.
Washington compliled a 5-0 dual meet record on the weekend. The Hatchets defeated: Southridge, 35-33; South Vermillion, 49-24; Mitchell, 46-27; Lawrenceville, Ill., 52-24; and Vincennes, 45-30.
Five Hatchet wrestlers finished the day with a 5-0 record; Levi Graber,120-pounds; Edgardo Meza, 132; Ritchie Osha, 145; Aaron Cissell, 182; and Kirk Crecullus, 220.
Finishing with 4-1 records were: Dakota Butler, 126; Isaac Drew, 138; and Edwin Revolorio, 195. Logan Hill, 170, also had a winning record at 3-2.
