Autumn Nicole Martin and Travis Michael Humbaugh were united in marriage June 6, 2009, at Free Methodist Church by Ronnie Lents.
The bride is the daughter of Sandi Martin and Gary Martin. Her grandparents are Patty Kane and the late Don Grow and the late Walter and Gloris Martin.
The bridegroom is the son of Kim Humbaugh and the late Ted Humbaugh. His grandparents are Marie Wagler and the late Albert Wagler and the late Don and Pat Humbaugh.
Maid of honor was Stacey Heath. Bridesmaids were Cara Veale, Jennifer Jamniczky and Atalie Schroering. The bride’s personal attendant was Tara Graber, sister of the bride.
Serving as the best man was Max Humbaugh Jr., cousin of the bridegroom. Groomsmen were Kory Coleman, Matt Jamniczky and Clint Longest. Ushers were Gavin Veale and Mitch Barber.
Soloists were Cara Veale and Jarit Cornelius. Rayven and Devin Graber, niece and nephew of the bride, passed out programs and bubbles.
The bride wore a strapless, satin organza gown. The bodice was accented with silver embroidery and met a softly draped torso ruched through the waistline. A corset tie back closure finished the bodice. The ruched, cascading A-line skirt featured a chapel-length train with appliques tucked into the waterfall skirt.
A reception followed the ceremony at the Gasthof Amish Village loft. Cake servers were Honey Clymer, Paige Clymer and Terry Ray.
After a honeymoon in Jamaica, the couple now resides in Greenwood.
The bride is a 2001 graduate of Washington High School, a 2003 graduate of Lincoln Trail College, and a 2006 graduate of the University of Southern Indiana with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. She is currently employed by the Edinburgh Community School Corporation as a sixth grade special education instructional assistant and Franklin College as assistant softball coach.
The bridegroom is a 2001 graduate of Washington High School, a 2004 graduate of Vincennes University, and a 2008 graduate of Indiana State University with a bachelor’s degree in safety management. He is currently employed by Vectren Energy Delivery as a corporate safety consultant for the central and southeast Indiana regions.
