Lawyer, Clements wed

Natalie Jo Lawyer and Stephen Lee Clements were united in marriage May 2, 2009 at High Bridge Park Pavilion, Wilmore, Ky. Pastor Tim Ahlemeyer performed the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Ben and Debbie Lawyer of rural Washington. She is the granddaughter of Olive Lawyer of Plainville and the late Bernard Lawyer, and Jennie Helm of Odon, and the late Floyd Helm.

The bridegroom is the son of Stephen and Markie Clements of Wilmore, Ky. He is the grandson of Ross and Jean Bridewell of Wilmore, Ky., and John and Noni Clements of Alamo, Ga., and the late Lois Clements.

Serving as maid of honor was Echo Ahlemeyer, childhood friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Sarah Matthews and Jodie Craddick, college friends the bride.

Elizabeth Lawyer Stewart served as her sister’s personal attendant.

Seth Parker,was the best man. Tim Bishop and Tim Conaway were groomsmen. All were friends from college.

Others in the wedding party included Scripture readers David Rutledge, Kayla Slaven and Heidi Buell.

Musicians were Travis Stahlhut, Bekah Witzer and Kristen Reynolds. A Prayer of Blessing was offered by Joy Ireland.

Attendants and servers at the reception following the ceremony were, Nate Craddock, Liz Stephen, Mark Workman, Melissa Moon, Jen Thomas, Stephanie Selle, and Gex Williams IV.

An Indiana reception was on May 16 in the Fellowship Hall of the Odon United Methodist Church. Attendants serving were Connie Vowels, Karen Dove, Jennie Dove and Bill Parsons. Marilyn Padgett made and served the cake.

The couple honeymooned in Florida and Georgia, and now reside at 502 W. Main, Wilmore, Ky., 40390.

They are attending Asbury College and will be graduating in May 2010.
