Fred Graber

MONTGOMERY — Fred Graber, 81, died at 8:05 p.m. Sunday at his home. Born Feb. 15, 1931, in Daviess County, he was the son of William and Leah Graber. He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church. He is survived by six daughters and sons-in-law, Dorothy and Levi Wagler of Plainville, Geneva and Ezra Wagler of Washington, Esther and William Knepp of Loogootee, Lydia and Norman Wittmer, Norma and Steven Stoll and Wanda Sue Graber, all of Montgomery; four sons and daughters-in-law, Mervin Lee Graber of Montgomery, Glen and Martha Graber of Washington, Howard and Donna Graber and Wilmer Dale Graber, all of Montgomery; three brothers, John Graber and Abraham Graber, both of Montgomery, and Louis Graber of Loogootee; one sister, Susanna (Amos) Wagler of Loogootee; 40 grandchildren; and 55 great-grandchildren. His wife, Lillie (Stoll) Graber, whom he married Feb. 21, 1952, died Dec. 19, 2007. His parents; one son, Victor Jay Graber; two brothers, Paul and Francis Graber; five sisters, Mrs. Ben (Edith) Wittmer, Mrs. Amos (Mildred) Graber, Mrs. Noah (Pauline) Wagler, Mrs. Enos (Maggie) Graber, and Mrs. Alva (Lillian) Knepp; one son-in-law, Lewis Knepp; two grandsons, Marlin Graber and an infant; and one great-granddaughter, Janna Lynn Wagler, are also deceased. The funeral will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday at the family residence. Burial will be in South West Cemetery. Visitation is until the hour of service Wednesday at the family residence. Arrangements are being made through Brocksmith-Blake and Wagler Funeral Home in Montgomery.
