VINCENNES — Cecilia Rhea Atchley, 81, died at 9:53 a.m. Monday at Good Samaritan Hospital. Born Oct. 31, 1928, she was the daughter of James K. and Nancy Jane (Crossland) Allen. She was a homemaker. She is survived by two sisters, Margie Arthur of Paris, Tenn., and Betty Street of Mesa, Ariz. Her husband, Kenneth Atchley, whom she married June 28, 1948, died Dec. 11, 2002. Two sisters, Beulah Sprigs and Georgia Trosper, and two brothers, Herschel Allen and Ethel Allen, are also deceased. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Walnut Hill Cemetery. Visitation is after 11 a.m. Thursday at Poindexter-Hall and McClure Funeral Home, Odon Chapel. (July 26, 2010)
