WASHINGTON — Doyle Wayne Wildman, 82, of Washington, died at 5:30 p.m. Friday at his residence. Born July 18, 1930, in Veale Township, he was the son of Richard “Red” and Dorothy (Wonder) Wildman. A 1948 graduate of Washington High School, he had been a superintendent for R and R Coal, as well as being a farmer. He was a member of the Moose Lodge for several years. He is survived by his wife, Mary Jane (Comer) Wildman, whom he married July 1, 1950; three daughters and sons-in-law, Nancy and Rick Grannan of Washington, Cindy and Greg Meade of Lawrenceville, Ga., and Daralette and Randy Wagers of Sunset, Utah; a son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Karen Wildman of Washington; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one sister, Mary Taylor of Indianapolis; and two brothers and sisters-in-law, John and Joyce Wildman of Pairland, Texas, and Don and Monette Wildman of Washington. He is preceded in death by his parents. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Gill Chapel, with Bro. Richard Smith and Rev. Ron Shaw officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery. Visitation is from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and after 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Preferred memorial contributions are to Helping Hands Hospice.
