Frances Virginia (Hotz) Hager
LOOGOOTEE — Frances Virginia (Hotz) Hager, 85, died at 1:15 p.m. Wednesday at Memorial Hospital in Jasper.
Born March 21, 1924, in Martin County, she was the daughter of Frank and Zola (Melton) Hotz.
A homemaker, she was a retired telephone operator at NSWC Crane. She was a member of St. John Catholic Church in Loogootee. She was a devoted mother and had a great devotion to the Blessed Mother.
She is survived by daughters and son-in-law, Judy Hager and Linda and Ron Bledsoe, all of Loogootee; sons and daughters-in-law, Jim and Darlene Hager and Rob and Susie Hager, all of Loogootee; brothers and sister-in-law, Robert and Patty Hotz of Lake Placid, Fla., and Rex Hotz of Tipton; sister and brother-in-law, Ruth Ann and Burt Gallagher of Logansport; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by one daughter, Donna Sanders; one sister, Geraldine Bough; one brother, Donald Hotz; and one sister-in-law, Sarah Jane Hotz.
A Mass of Christian burial wil be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday at St. John Catholic Church in Loogootee. Burial will be in St. John Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation is from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at Brocksmith Funeral Home.
