Christopher Parsons


BEAVERCREEK, Ohio — Christopher Parsons, 21, passed away at Hospice of Dayton Friday after a long battle with melanoma.

He was born Sept. 5, 1987, in Newark, Ohio, to Ronald and Denise (Dorsey) Parsons.

He was a 2006 graduate of Beavercreek High School. He was a member of Aley United Methodist Church in Beavercreek and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

He is survived by his parents, Ron and Denise Parsons; a sister, Cindi, and a brother, Bryan, both at home; and grandparents, Roy and Barb (Wheeler) Hammer of Heath, Ohio and Gene and Jean (Kidwell) Parsons of Loogootee.

He is preceded in death by his great-grandfather, Glen Wheeler of Perryton, Ohio.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Vancil-Orr and Chute Funeral Home in Frayezsburg, Ohio. Burial will be in Smith’s Chapel Cemetery in Newark, Ohio.

Visitation was from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. from 8 p.m. Sunday at Tobias Funeral Home, Beavercreek, and 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Vancil-Orr and Chute Funeral Home.
