William J. Graber

ODON — William J. Graber, 67, died at 1:40 p.m. Sunday at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville.

Born May 29, 1942, in Daviess County, he was the son of Joseph L. and Martha Graber.

A farmer, he was a member of Old Order Amish.

He is survived by his wife, Susie (Wagler) Graber, whom he married Nov. 1, 1961; daughters and sons-in-law, Katherine and David Graber of Loogootee, Barbara Ann and Harvey Wagler of Odon, Dorothy and Roman Miller of Arthur, Ill., and Martha and Danny Ray Wagler of Loogootee; sons and daughters-in-law, Simon and Alma Graber of Montgomery, Melvin and Karen Graber of Topeka, Ind., and Abraham and Susanna Graber of Odon; 27 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sisters and brothers-in-law, Ida and Ora Lengacher, Viola and Enos Wagler, Keturah and Simon Wagler, Esther and Frank Wagler, all of Odon, and Laura and Marvin Wagler of West Union, Ohio; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ben and Betty Graber of Sullivan, Paul and Katherine Graber, Levi and Martha Graber, Joe Jr. and Darlene Graber, Fred and Anna Mae Graber, Arthur and Leoda Graber, and John and Lydia Graber, all of Odon; and a brother-in-law, Howard Wagler of Odon.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph L. and Martha Graber; a sister, Fannie Wagler, and father- and mother-in-law, Levi and Katie Wagler.

The funeral will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday at the family residence. Burial will be in Graber Cemetery.

Arrangements are being made through Poindexter-Hall and McClure Funeral Home.
