WASHINGTON — Marilyn K. Dyer, 60, of Washington, passed away at 1:23 p.m. Tuesday at Daviess Community Hospital. Born Feb. 11, 1952, in Washington, she was the daughter of Lester and Agnes (Casper) Bradfield. She was a 1971 graduate of Washington High School. She was a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, James Dyer, whom she married May 22, 1971; one daughter and son-in-law, Angela and Darrell Selby of Washington; one son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Mandy Dyer of Washington; three grandchildren, Lindsey Johnson, Jonah Dyer and Trinity Dyer, all of Washington; one sister and brother-in-law, Jane and Mark Sturgeon of Washington; and her little doggies, Rokko and Lily. She is preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Jerry Bradfield. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, with Rev. Gordon Mann as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery. Visitation is from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Ed Lee Mortuary, with a wake service at 4 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church.
