WASHINGTON — Maudi P. Faith, 71, of Washington, died at 12:20 a.m. Wednesday at Daviess Community Hospital. Born Sept. 19, 1941, in Martin County, she was the daughter of George and Mamie (Street) Parsons. A member of Faithway Baptist Church, she attended Knights Chapel Church. She had been a waitress for several years. She is survived by her husband, George Faith, whom she married Aug. 12, 2003; daughters, Sheryl Rockett and Darlene (Alfred) Smith, all of Washington; a son, Frank Patterson of Washington; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and sisters, Vivian Franklin of Ingalls, Ruby Wilcoxen of Shoals, Mildred Cloud of Ingalls, and Alice Stone of Loogootee. One daughter, Debbie Webber, died Aug. 14, 2012. Her parents and five brothers, Lester, Sam, Mike, Junior and George, are also deceased. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Poindexter-McClure Funeral Home, Washington Chapel, with Rev. Harley Archer officiating. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery. Visitation is from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and after 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
