CLYDE WININGER
WOODLAKE, Calif. — Clyde H. Wininger was born March 11, 1920 in Montgomery to Emmette & Lula Wininger. He passed away in Visalia, Calif., on March 4, at the age of 88 years.
Clyde served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II. He moved to California in 1955, settling in Huntington Park. He married Socorro Gonzales in Orange, Calif., on Nov. 27, 1969. The couple moved to Woodlake in 1989 where they have since resided. He worked as an ink maker for Acme Printing Inc. of California for over 35 years before retirement. He was a member of the VFW.
Survivors include his wife, Socorro; son, Tommy Ray of Springfield, Ill. and Helen Montes of Visalia; brother, Ralph Wininger of Montgomery; sister, Mildred Walker of Elkhart; four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and two stepgrandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Lorenzo.
Services are private under the direction of Miller Memorial Chapel, Visalia, Calif.
