FORT WAYNE — Betty Jane Werling, 89, was surrounded by family when she went to be with her Maker at 8 a.m. on Oct. 11.

Born April 29, 1923, she was the daughter of Russell Edgar and Mabel Virena (Bobilya) Aker.
