Ruth Foster

Feb. 1, 1939 - July 2, 2012

WASHINGTON — Ruth Marie Foster, 73, of Washington, died at 2:30 p.m. July 2 at Daviess Community Hospital after being in poor health for two years. Born Feb. 1, 1939, in Washington, she was the daughter of the late Bart and Gladys Pride. A graduate of Washington High School, she was a homemaker and had worked at several local factories. She was a member of Church on the Way. She is survived by three daughters, Ramona Foster and Jeanette Foster, both of Florida, and Angela Dick of Washington; one son, Billy Foster of Washington; 14 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a brother, Bobby Lewis of Danville, Ind.; and a sister, Virginia Frye of Switz City. Funeral services will be private and there will be no visitation.

    Lucille Nolley Dillon, 76, died at 3:02 p.m. Saturday at Select Hospital in Evansville after a brief illness.
    Born Sept. 30, 1935, in Daviess, she was the daughter of Arlan V. and Essie (Hardesty) Nolley. She graduated from Montgomery High School in 1953 and retired as a bookkeeper from McDonald Chevrolet in Washington after 43 years of service.
