LOOGOOTEE — Sarah Jane Dillon, 85, passed away peacefully at her residence Monday at 4:10 a.m. Sarah was born Nov. 21, 1926, in Logansport, to George Elmer and Myrtle Adel (Foust) Bougher. She was first married to Carl Barnes and he preceded her in death on Oct. 8, 1980. She then married Ed Dillon and he preceded her in death also. She worked for Standard Foods for 21 years in Indianapolis and also worked at Perfect Fit in Loogootee. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a former member of the Eastern Star. She is loved and deeply missed by three sons, Carl (Donna) Barnes of Longwood, Fla., Darrell (Darlene) Barnes of Whitestown, and Kelly Barnes (Rose) of Cape Coral, Fla.; daughter, Sandra (Mike) Norris of Loogootee; 13 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husbands, one brother and three sisters. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Lee Funeral Home in Loogootee. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.
