Eva F. Mattingly
Eva F. Mattingly, 84, of Washington, died at 12:43 a.m. Tuesday at Daviess Community Hospital.
Born July 13, 1925, in Pike County, she was the daughter of Charles and Mayme (Eisele) Beck.
She was a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church and the Legion of Mary. She had worked at Prairie Village Living Center as the head cook.
She is survived by three sons, William Joseph Mattingly and his wife Madonna, Ronnie Charles Mattingly and his friend Barbara Fulkerson, and Joseph Harold Mattingly and his friend Angie Hankins, all of Washington; seven grandchildren, Stephanie Campbell, Rhonda Mattingly, Debbie Cassidy, Sherri Dillman, Jennifer Phariss, Brook Havill and Jeff Boes; 11 great-grandchildren, Casey Campbell, Nate Campbell, Triston Mattingly, Michael Cassidy, Brian Cassidy, Josh Drew, Isaac Drew, Ryan Phariss, Sam Phariss, Ethan Boes and Cohen Havill; and one great-great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Cassidy.
Her husband, Harold J. Mattingly, whom she married Oct. 20, 1943, died June 10, 2004. One great-grandson, Jake Anderson, and three sisters, Kathyrn Lawson, Mona Loveless and Geneva Heffernan, are also deceased.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, with Rev. Gordon Mann as celebrant. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery.
Visitation is from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Ed Lee Mortuary, with a wake service at 4 p.m.

Noah “Nick” Graber, 75, went to be with the Lord at 12:22 a.m. Sunday at his residence surrounded by his family. Born May 31, 1935, in Daviess County, he was the son of Nicholas R. and Ida (Graber) Graber.

Helen B. Williams, 102, of Washington, went home to be with the Lord at 3:18 a.m. Sunday at Washington Nursing Center. Born Dec. 20, 1907, she was the daughter of William and Maude (Koontz) Miles.

Kenneth Wayne “Kenny” Roark, 67, died at 1:15 p.m. Thursday at his residence. Born Oct. 29, 1942, in Daviess County, he was the son of Ralph W. and Wanda F. (White) Roark.

Marion R. Barber, 89, died at 6:15 p.m. Saturday at his residence. Born Jan. 23, 1921, in Daviess County, he was the son of Logan W. and Lorena Pearl (Arison) Barber.

Paul William Patterson, 84, passed away at 2:53 p.m. Saturday at Parkvilla LTC in Marion. Born Oct. 26, 1926, in Daviess County, he was the son of Charles and Anna (Wilson) Patterson.
