BLOOMINGTON — Charlotte Sue Betley, 79, passed away Thursday at Indiana University Health Bloomington Hospital. She was born in Washington Sept. 30, 1933, to the late Ralph and Essie Leonard. Charlotte loved being outside, gardening and enjoying the sunshine. She was a fantastic cook and enjoyed cooking meals for her family, including Christmas dinner this year. She and her sister Patty went “thrift shopping,” or “junking” as they called it, every Tuesday and Thursday. Charlotte really loved life; she enjoyed so many life experiences. She was witty, funny and touched the hearts of many and always had something nice to say about everyone. Charlotte is survived by a daughter, Connie D. Roberts of Bloomington; a son, Frank Healy and his wife Maria of Bloomington; a stepdaughter and son-in-law, Patty and Jerry Maibuecher of Skokie, Ill.; three sisters and one brother, Patty Campbell of Ellettsville, Juanita and Byford Carnahan, Jo Ella Nolley and Thomas Leonard, all of Washington; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; an extra special granddog, Dickens; and many nieces, nephews and their families. Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Charles and Loran Leonard, sister Harriett Mattingly, Hester Cass and Verda Gregory. Charlotte was a cherished and much loved mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She will be deeply missed but always remembered. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Born Dec. 3, 1947 in Montgomery, he was the son of Virgil and Mary (Yates) Foster. He graduated from Alfordsville High School in 1965.

Paisley Ann Morgan, two weeks old, of Washington, passed away at 5:25 p.m. Wednesday at Riley Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis. Born April 30, 2013, in Newburgh, she was the daughter of Ryan and Brittany (Babrick) Morgan.

Mildred “Millie” (Mahan) Beck, 87, of Washington, passed away peacefully at 5:29 p.m. Wednesday with her family by her side at Daviess Community Hospital.
Shirley J. Ausbrook passed away Tuesday at 4:15 p.m. at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes. Shirley was born on Feb. 3, 1939, in Clay City, Ill., to Leo and Vida E. Murbarger.
Cathy Lynn Gould, 62 of Washington, died at 11:47 a.m. Friday at her residence. She was the daughter of Hugh O. and Phyllis (Madden) McLemore, and lived in Washington nearly all her life.
Frank Price, 77, of Washington, died at 5:15 a.m. Tuesday at Hillside Manor. Born June 29, 1935, in Loogootee, he was the son of Agatha (Spaulding) and Francis Price Sr.
Eileen Cole, 86, died at 9:57 a.m. Monday at the Loogootee Nursing Center. Born Sept. 19, 1926, in Daviess County, she was the daughter of Frank and Connie (Jackman) Swickard.
