WASHINGTON — David J. Rogers, 48, of Washington, passed away Monday at IU Medical Center in Indianapolis. Born May 27, 1964, in Washington, he was the son of Bruce and Catherine (Backes) Rogers. He was a 1982 graduate of Washington Catholic High School and a graduate of Vincennes University with a degree in computer technology. He was pursing a degree in biomedical technology for Vincennes University. He is survived by his wife, Molly (Killion) Rogers, whom he married Sept. 1, 1984; three daughters and sons-in-laws, Christina and William Bond, Jennifer and Bill Taylor, and Angela Rogers, all of Washington; one son, Aaron Rogers of Vincennes; four grandchildren, Alexis Rogers, Logan Taylor, Katelynn Taylor and Kalib Bice; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Cindy and Michael Kramer, and Mary Lynn and John Wilson, all of Washington; and his mother-in-law, Catherine Killion of Washington. He is preceded in death by his parents, Bruce and Kate Rogers. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, with Rev. Gordon Mann as celebrant. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery. Visitation is from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Ed Lee Mortuary. Memorial donations may be given to Washington Catholic Preschool, 315 N.E.
