HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. — John W. Rogers, 74, died Tuesday at Mountaincrest Nursing Home in Cincinnati, Ohio. A U.S. Army veteran, he had been a credit manager at General Electric Company in Cincinnati. He was a member of Asbury Methodist Church in Highland Heights and Cincinnati Museum of Art. He is survived by sons, Christopher Rogers of Fischer, John Rogers III of Highland Heights, and David Rogers of Marietta, Ga.; sister, Diane Gill of Washington; and many grandchildren. His wife, LaVerne Rogers, died in 2004. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home in Ludlow, Ky. Burial will be in Mother of God Cemetery in Fort Wright, Ky.
